Fall into Food Giving 2023
"Spring into Action" Food Challenge 2023
Four Area churches created a food drive challenge. These churches were: Cross Point Community Church, Bethel Temple, North Broadway Baptist, and Tillsonburg Alliance Church
Food Drives are a way to help stock our shelves and we host these several times a year. We May Not Solve Hunger Entirely, but You Can Help Us Lessen It. Join Our Cause Today!
Are you interested in hosting a food drive to help the food bank? We would like to know so that we can have you assist us in the best way possible. This means that you need to contact us prior to starting to organize the event so that we can make arrangements for what is needed and to have the food bank open with our Team Associates available.
We’re calling on you and your organization to step up to the challenge and help. To rally community-wide support for our hungry neighbors in Tillsonburg. Join us in our fight against hunger.
We are asking groups such as schools, churches, factories, banks, offices, stores to think about helping us with food drives. We have a list of fun suggestions that you can use to help with a food drive or to get your creative ideas going as to how to do this. With numbers rising of people in our community who are struggling with food insecurity, including 1 in 6 kids, there’s no better time to fight hunger than right now.
So plan a fun and creative event to help support the Helping Hand Food Bank and your community. For ideas of what to do, email: coordinatorhhfbtburg@gmail.com and you can receive a list of fun and exciting ways to raise support for the food bank.
