About the Helping Hand Food Bank
It is the mission of Helping Hand Food Bank to provide nourishment and hope to those we serve and an opportunity for our community to share.
Our mandate is to act as a front-line agency assisting those struggling to make ends meet and to act as a food warehouse and to work with other agencies that assist people in need.
Our ethics are to maintain membership with Feed Ontario and Food Banks Canada and to sign and adhere to the code of ethics for both organizations.

Position Summary
The coordinator position reports to the Board of Directors and is a permanent, part-time position that will require an average of 20 hours per week with the flexibility for additional hours during peak times.
The Coordinator is responsible for the internal operation of the food bank, including the management of volunteers. They are required to be professional and approachable in all activities relating to their position within the Helping Hand Food Bank; doing their best to create a positive work environment and relationships among all volunteers, both within the food band and the Board of Directors.
