Grocery Stores
The Helping Hand Food Bank is proud to be a member of Food Banks Canada, an organization dedicated to sharing food at the community level. Through their retail food program, local food banks across the country are paired with participating national retailers to receive safe, high-quality food, including fresh, frozen, and non-perishable items, as well as essential consumer goods.
Thanks to the generosity of Metro, Sobeys, Walmart, and Zehrs, we receive weekly donations that help us provide additional support to those in need. Without their commitment, we wouldn’t have the extra resources that make a difference in our food services.

Our partnerships with local retailers and their employees are essential in ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors has access to quality food. This network of support allows us to continue serving our community with dignity and care.
